Join me for an autumn expressive writing circle where we’ll explore our stories and emotions through an ‘October lens,’ visiting themes of abundance, transformation, release and rest. I specifically chose the date of 10/10 as, according to spiritual traditions, the number 10 signifies completion and renewal—a cycle of life that constantly evolves. I love this for us. Through thoughtful prompts, quiet writing time, and the opportunity to share (if you choose and I hope you will!), you'll discover the stories, memories, and reflections waiting to emerge. The power of being witnessed in our sharing is transformative and healing.
While no two writing circles are the same—shaped by the unique presence and courage of each writer—I have experienced the beautiful alchemy that happens through a group of individuals willing to bravely share their heart on the page. No writing experience necessary, just an open and willing spirit!
We will explore some of the following themes and also leave room for surprise detours!
• Cultivating goodness, letting go, rest and reflection
• Truth telling and relational honesty
• Mining meaningful moments and decisions
Expressive writing is less a destination and more a meandering through that which we hold within. Together, we'll follow questions worth exploring, uncover fresh perspectives, and discover the wisdom hidden within our own experiences.
Our group is intentionally small (8 or fewer) to cultivate an intimate and safe environment for this impactful—and fun—inner exploration.
